Week 10 Part A: Researching Email Marketing

 1. With that in mind, how often do you think you should send one from your business? I think a weekly newsletter is ideal. Sending anything more frequent can feel excessive and overwhelming for subscribers. A weekly rhythm allows us to stay top of mind without becoming spammy. 2. What information could your business use for a newsletter? Here are some content ideas I believe our customers would enjoy and benefit from: Latest AI innovations – Our audience likely values staying updated on cutting-edge tools and trends in AI. Prompt ideas – Sharing creative or helpful prompts can inspire users and demonstrate the versatility of AI tools. Great reviews from customers – Social proof builds trust. Highlighting authentic testimonials can help engage and convert new users. Behind-the-scenes updates – People love knowing the story behind a brand; showing progress, challenges, or team highlights creates connection. Exclusive tips or tutorials – Offering value through bite-sized lessons or u...

Week 9 Part B: Using Google for Business and Creating an Account

I checked out Google Business Profile and was surprised how helpful it actually is. I love how easy it is to book appointments straight from the listing. It makes businesses feel more legit and super easy to work with. The reviews are a big plus too. I always read them, and it’s cool how front-and-center they are. It really helps build trust. I had no idea Google lets you build a website for free. I’m definitely going to try that soon seems perfect while I figure out what I want to build long-term. A lot of local spots are already using these features and it makes a difference. Overall, I think it’s a great tool, especially for small or growing businesses.

Week 9 Part A: What is TikTok All About

I haven’t signed up for TikTok yet, but I’m planning to for this class. My goal is to post organic content, just little moments from daily life. Nothing fancy, just real and relatable. I think that kind of content does well on TikTok, and it’s a fun way to learn creation.  I’m still figuring out how I’ll use my AI degree longterm, but I could see TikTok being helpful for showing off new tech in the future. Quick demos, behind-the-scenes stuff, or just making AI feel more human, it could be a great tool. I already love the TikToks that end up on Instagram. People are hilarious and insanely creative. That’s honestly what excites (and intimidates) me. I know I’ll get sucked in once I download it! For now, I’m just exploring. I’ll share my link once I’m up and running. This feels like a good step toward something bigger.

Week 8 Part B: Blogs, Vlogs, Podcasts & Webinars PLUS How Adding a Personal Touch to Posts Can Help

Using a Blog to Connect Through My AI Journey This week I wrote a blog post called “My Second Day of Coding and I Built a Quaternion-Powered Sentiment Engine.” It sounds technical (and it is), but what made it work is that I was honest—it was literally my second day coding alone, and I just shared the process of figuring it out and building something that kind of works. That post helped me realize how a blog can connect people to what I’m doing, even if they don’t fully understand AI. For my business, J.E.W.E.L.S AI Consulting, I could use a blog or maybe a vlog to show small business owners how AI tools might help with tasks like automation, branding, or saving time. I’d keep it simple, honest, and share what I’m learning as I go. That way, it’s not just about sounding smart—it’s about being real and making this stuff less scary. Adding a personal touch works best when you’re telling a story or trying to build trust. You don’t need to get overly emotional, but even being open about st...

My Second Day of Coding and I Built a Quaternion-Powered Sentiment Engine

Two days ago, I barely knew how to string together Python lines by myself. Today, I trained a custom neural network with quaternion embeddings and attention pooling to classify emotional sentiment in language—and it works. This isn't just about achieving high accuracy. It's about building something that understands people. What I Built I designed a sentiment analysis model using quaternion mathematics (four-dimensional number systems) instead of traditional embeddings, giving the model a richer sense of linguistic structure. Then I added a custom attention layer to help it focus on emotionally significant words, rather than averaging everything out equally. Technologies Used: TensorFlow / Keras HuggingFace Datasets (IMDb) Custom QuaternionEmbedding Layer AttentionPooling Layer Results That Prove It Works I trained the model on 25,000 IMDb reviews (balanced between positive and negative). Validation accuracy reached: Epoch 5 Accuracy: ~86% Validation Accuracy: ~82% Then I tested...

WEEK 8

So originally, I was gonna start this whole AI business thing, but honestly… it’s on pause for now. I just wasn’t feeling super inspired in that space at the moment. For our social media class, I’m switching it up and just doing me. I’ll be posting from all my fave spots around San Diego. NO filters, no over-editing, just real content that actually feels good to share. Like, cute sunsets, random junkyard vibes, flowers, skyline shots, chill moments, all of it.I’m keeping things super organic, and here are the hashtags I’ve been using lately: Current Hashtags: #chiropractor #healthvibes #align #selfcaretips #self #lindavista #violet #flowers #skyline #sunset #incognito #junkyard #bigsky #clouds #trash #day #vibes #vibe #cool #chatgpt #memepage #dalle #sweetpea #sweetart #girly It’s kinda just a vibe right now—posting what feels fun and not overthinking it. Let’s see where it goes!

Week 7 - Instagram hashtags

When I first started using Instagram back in 2014, hashtags were the key to gaining visibility. At the time, they were a quick and easy way to categorize content and connect with a broader audience. I grew my followers significantly through the strategic use of hashtags—something that was almost a necessity for success on the platform. However, as the Instagram algorithm has matured, it's become clear that hashtags aren't the powerhouses they once were. Today, Instagram’s algorithm is far more sophisticated, prioritizing content relevance, user engagement, and even personalized preferences over simple keyword tags. As a result, businesses still clinging to outdated hashtag strategies risk looking out of touch with current marketing trends. It’s no longer about trying to reach the broadest audience through a sea of hashtags; it's about creating meaningful, keyword-driven content that resonates with your target demographic. In fact, continuing to rely heavily on hashtags can...

Starting over

Due to some recent events that occurred while traveling, I’m starting over with this new blog. I’ve decided not to continue using Facebook, but I will be participating in all future assignments
